Sheridan County High School Basketball Recap: December 16-18, 2021

Sheridan’s games were postponed, Big Horn and Tongue River hosted the Foothills Classic with some schedule changes, while Arvada-Clearmont’s scheduled game for the weekend was canceled.

Sheridan Boys:

Due to non-COVID illnesses reasons, the Broncs scheduled games home vs. Buffalo and at Cody were postponed. A makeup date is TBA.

Sheridan’s record for the 2021-2022 season is 3-0.

The next scheduled games are January 6-8, 2022 at Cheyenne vs. opponents TBA.

Sheridan Girls:

Like the boys, the Lady Broncs scheduled games at Buffalo and at Cody were postponed. A makeup date is TBA.

Big Horn Boys:

The Rams went 2-1 at home in the Foothills Classic, and ended up playing 3 games instead of 4, because Big Piney was unable to attend due to non-COVID illnesses.

On Thursday (December 16th), Big Horn defeated Wyoming Indian 57-50.

On Friday BH lost vs. Greybull 46-41, and then defeated Wind River 60-51 on Saturday.

The Rams’ record so far in the 2021-2022 season is 3-3.

The next scheduled games are January 7-8, 2022 vs. various opponents TBA at Moorcroft and/or Sundance.

Big Horn Girls:

The Lady Rams went 1-2 at home in the Foothills Classic, and ended up playing 3 games instead of 4, because Big Piney was unable to attend due to non-COVID illnesses.

On Thursday (December 16th), Big Horn lost vs. Wyoming Indian 43-26.

On Friday, BH lost vs. Greybull 42-28, and then defeated Wind River 38-32 on Saturday.

The Lady Rams’ record so far in the 2021-2022 season is 1-5.

The next scheduled games are January 7-8, 2022 vs. various opponents TBA at Moorcroft and/or Sundance.

Tongue River Boys:

The Eagles went 4-0 at home in the Foothills Classic, although the schedule had to be adjusted, because Big Piney was unable to attend due to non-COVID illnesses.

On Friday (December 17th), TR defeated Wyoming Indian 84-62 and Wind River 64-47.

Then on Saturday Tongue River defeated Wright in a non-quadrant game 88-44, and then finished the weekend by defeating Greybull 52-41.

The Eagles’ record so far in the 2021-2022 season is 5-2.

The next scheduled games are January 7-8, 2022 vs. various opponents TBA at Moorcroft and/or Sundance.

Tongue River Girls:

The Lady Eagles went 3-1 at home in the Foothills Classic, although the schedule had to be adjusted, because Big Piney was unable to attend due to non-COVID illnesses.

On Friday (December 17th), TR lost vs. Wyoming Indian 62-50, and won vs. Wind River 67-40.

Then on Saturday, Tongue River defeated Wright in a non-quadrant game 46-32, and then finished the weekend by defeating Greybull 46-29.

The Lady Eagles’ record so far in the 2021-2022 season is 3-4.

The next scheduled games are January 7-8, 2022 vs. various opponents TBA at Moorcroft and/or Sundance.

Arvada-Clearmont Boys:

The Panthers scheduled game at Ten Sleep on Friday, December 17th was canceled.

A-C’s record so far in the 2021-2022 season is 0-3.

The next scheduled games are January 7-8, 2022 vs. various opponents TBA at Moorcroft and/or Sundance.

Arvada-Clearmont Girls:

The Lady Panthers didn’t have a game scheduled the week. They were originally supposed to play at Ten Sleep, but TS does not have a girls team this season.

A-C’s record so far in the 2021-2022 season is 1-2.

The next scheduled games are January 7-8, 2022 vs. various opponents TBA at Moorcroft and/or Sundance.
