Sheridan County High School Basketball Recap: December 9-11, 2021

The Sheridan County High School basketball teams were a combined 9-15 on the opening weekend of the season.

Sheridan Boys:

The Sheridan Broncs went 3-0 at Lander and at Riverton, beating Lander on Thursday 70-55, Riverton on Friday 45-38, and Star Valley on Saturday 60-51.

The next scheduled games for the Broncs will be the home opener on Friday, December 17th vs. Buffalo.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm.

Sheridan will then play at Cody on Saturday, December 18th at 2pm.

Sheridan Girls:

The Lady Broncs also went 3-0 beating the same teams at Lander and Riverton.

Sheridan beat Lander on Thursday 51-48, Riverton on Friday 60-48 and Star Valley on Saturday 40-26.

The next scheduled games for the Lady Broncs are at Buffalo on Friday, December 17th (7pm tip off), and at Cody on Saturday, December 18th (12:30pm tip-off).

Big Horn Boys:

The Rams went 1-2 vs. 3A competition in Buffalo.

On Friday, BH lost to Powell 58-38, then played later that same day beating Pinedale 50-47.

On Saturday, Big Horn lost 45-41 vs. Lovell.

The Rams next 4 games are at home, starting Thursday, December 16th vs. Wyoming Indian (7:30pm tip-off).

On Friday December 17th BH plays Greybull (10:30am tip-off) and Big Piney (7:30pm tip-off), then on Saturday, December 18th they play Wind River (12;30pm tip-off).

Big Horn Girls:

The Lady Rams went 0-3 vs. 3A competition at Lovell.

On Friday, BH lost vs. Powell 44-28.

Then on Saturday, Big Horn lost vs. Lovell 57-23 and vs. Pinedale 94-9.

Like the boys, the Lady Rams’ next 4 scheduled games are at home beginning Thursday, December 16th vs. Wyoming Indian (6pm tip-off).

On Friday, December 17th BH plays Greybull (10:30am tip-off in the middle school gym) and Big Piney (6pm tip-off), then on Saturday, December 18th they play Wind River (11am tip-off).

Tongue River Boys:

The Eagles went 1-2 vs. 3A competition in Buffalo.

On Friday, TR lost to Buffalo 57-52, then played again that same day and beat Lovell 59-44.

On Saturday, Tongue River lost vs. Rawlins 56-35.

The Eagles are scheduled to play their next 4 games at home, starting on Thursday, December 16th vs. Greybull (7:30pm).

On Friday, December 17th TR plays Wyoming Indian (10:30am tip-off) and Wind River (7:30pm tip-off), then on Saturday, December 18th, they play Big Piney (12:30pm tip-off).

Tongue River Girls:

The Lady Eagles went 0-3 vs. 3A competition at Lovell.

On Friday, TR lost vs. Powell 46-29 and vs. Lovell 56-24.

Then on Saturday, Tongue River lost vs. Rawlins 37-25.

Like the boys, the Lady Eagles’ next 4 scheduled games are at home beginning Thursday December 16th vs. Greybull (6pm tip-off).

On Friday, December 17th TR plays Wyoming Indian (9am tip-off) and Wind River (6pm tip-off), the on Saturday, December 18th, they play Big Piney (11am tip-off).

Arvada-Clearmont Boys:

The Panthers went 0-3 at the Upton Tournament.

On Friday, A-C lost vs. Sundance 52-16, and against Ten Sleep 57-37.

On Saturday. Arvada-Clearmont lost vs. The Sheridan Freshmen 36-15.

The Panthers next scheduled game is Friday, December 17th at Ten Sleep (5:30pm tip-off).

Arvada-Clearmont Girls:

The Lady Panthers went 1-2 at the Upton Tournament.

On Friday, A-C lost vs. Sundance 37-23, then won that same day vs. Upton JV 42-30.

Then on Saturday, Arvada-Clearmont lost vs. the Sheridan Freshmen 49-32.

The Lady Panthers next scheduled games are On Friday, January 7th at either Moorcroft or Sundance.
