Broncs Beat Rock Springs for the 4A State Title / Broncos fall Against Philly / Cowboy Hoops put up Another Blowout Victory

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs beat Rock Springs 45-27 Saturday to win their 7th state title since 2009, Colson Coon rushed for 230 yards and four touchdowns and talked with Sheridan Media’s Kevin Koile after the victory.

Senior Carter McComb said preparation for the game paid off.

It was a dream start for the Broncs as McComb took the opening kick back 88 yards for a touchdown.

McComb says the return worked again and they were off and running.

Head coach Jeff Mowry says the fast start got them rolling and they kept the pressure on Rock Springs all night.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys lost at Boise state 23-13 they play at Utah state Saturday night.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos lost at home to the Philadelphia Eagles 30-13 the Broncos are off this week and host the LA Chargers on Sunday, November 28th.

WYOMING BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys drilled Arkansas-Pine Bluff 85-45 to go to 2-0 on the season they play at Washington Thursday night.

JUNIOR HAWKS – The Sheridan Junior Hawks split with the Badlands Sabres they won Friday 6-3 and lost 3-2 Saturday, they are at home this weekend hosting games with Bozeman, Montana.
