Friday Night Wrap-Up

The #1 ranked Sheridan Broncs Wrestling team hosted both Green River and Thunder Basin on Friday night.  The Broncs won 10 of the 14 matches in beating Green River 54-19. In the night cap, the Broncs held their senior night and got a great performance from their group of seniors.  The #1 Broncs and the #2 Bolts battled back and forth all night splitting the 14 matches 7-7 but the Broncs had more falls and won the dual 42-27 to complete an undefeated dual season.  We will hear from head coach Tyson Shatto on Monday as the Broncs move onto the post season as they will host the Northeast Quadrant Regional Tournament next Friday.

The #1 Sheridan Bronc team improved their record to 12-1 with a 77-61 road win over Cheyenne South last night.  The Broncs dominated as they led by as many as 25 and cruised to the 16 point win.  The Broncs will play at Laramie this afternoon at 2:30 and we will have the game for you on 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM

The Sheridan Lady Broncs dropped their road game to Cheyenne South 54-41.  The loss drops the Lady Broncs to 4-9 on the season.  They will play at Laramie this afternoon.  You can hear the game on 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM starting at 1pm.

The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams traveled to play at Moorcroft yesterday afternoon.  The Lady Rams struggled to score and lost to the Lady Wolves 60-17 while the Rams picked up another conference win by beating the Wolves 69-37.  The Rams and Lady Rams will host Sundance this afternoon.

The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles both won conference road games as the Lady Eagles beat Wright 50-34 and the Eagles beat the Panthers 68-34.  Both teams will be back on the road today with games in Greybull.

The Arvada/Clearmont Panthers had their weekend games postponed due to the weather.

The Wyoming Cowgirls will be in action this afternoon as they host the Utah State Lady Aggies again today. The game will tip off at 2:00pm at the Arena Auditorium in Laramie.
