Sheridan Boys 2nd; Girls 6th At 2026 WY 4A Indoor Track and Field State Meet
The Sheridan boys won 6 events, but had to settle for 2nd place overall, missing by 2 1/2 points to Cheyenne East, at the 2026 Wyoming 4A State Indoor Track and Field Meet.
The Sheridan girls placed 6th.
Sheridan Boys Individual Results:
Gabe Perkins was 2nd in the 200 meter dash.
Rudy Green was 2nd in the 400 meter dash.
Ryder Charest was 1st in the 800 meter run, while Wyatt Veal was 3rd.
Eli Balkenbush was 1st in the 1600 meter run and was 2nd in the 3200 meter run, missing 1st by 0.45 seconds.
Adam Frey was 2nd in the 55 meter hurdles.
The 4 by 200 meter relay team finished 1st (Rudy Green, Gabe Perkins, Adam Frey, Matt Brown)
The 4 by 400 meter relay team finished 1st (Rudy Green, Gabe Perkins, Michael McMullen, Ryder Charest)
The 4 by 800 meter relay team finished 1st (Shaun Gonda, Wyatt Veal, Aadan Luna, Eli Balkenbush)
The Sprint Medley Relay Team finished 1st (Torrey Phillips, Gavin Gilbertz, Adam Frey, Ryder Charest)
Cole Bunting was 2nd in the pole vault and Jackson Brewer was 4th.

Ruby Jacobs finished 2nd in the 55 meter hurdles.
