Sheridan Lady Hawks U19 Team Wins WAHL A-League State Title: Sheridan is girls hockey title town.

The Wyoming Amateur Hockey League Under-19 Girls State Tournament was held at the M & M’s Center this past weekend.

The Sheridan Lady Hawks were the #1 seed going into the event.

The team got through pool play and ended up in yesterday’s A-League State Championship game against Pinedale.

The opposition got on the board in the first period.

Sheridan would tie the score in the 2nd, and then in the 3rd period, the team would get 2 power play goals in 61 seconds, which made the difference, and Lady Hawks would win the state championship 3-1.

Eighth grader Alyssa Biteman scored 2 of the 3 goals.

In the first period, the Lady Hawks were firing shot after shot, but couldn’t find the back of the net.

Biteman says the team was playing too tight at first, but once things finally got going, they did not let up.

Mahomes has now won his third Super Bowl and has been named MVP in all 3 of them.

He was 34 of 46 passing for 333 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.

A key moment in the game was that the 49ers got the ball first in overtime, and drove to the Kansas City 8½ yard line, but the Chiefs defense was able to hold SF to a field goal to give their offense a chance, and they made the most of it.
