Sheridan Commission OKs Resolution to Amend Regs On Division of Land
Sheridan County’s Commissioners have voted to approve a Resolution giving public notice of their intent to amend its Rules & Regulations Governing Division of Land.
At the commission meeting Tuesday, County Planner Mark Reid explained why the county is going through the process.
The Resolution passed by the commission opens the public comment period on the proposed changes to the rules and regulations.
Copies of the proposed amendment are available from the Sheridan County Board of County Commissioners’ Office or County Public Works Department, and can also be viewed on the county website.
Written comments on the proposed amendment may be submitted by the public to the Board of County Commissioners on or before noon on Friday, June 30.
A public hearing to receive oral comments on the proposed amendment will be held on July 5 at 9 a.m.
The commission will consider adoption of the proposed amendment at its regular meeting on July 5 commencing at 9 a.m.
