It’s all About the Gridiron This Weekend as the fall Sports Season Wraps up

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL WEEKEND – The Big Horn Rams and Sheridan Broncs play tomorrow and Saturday in their respective state championship games, Sheridan Media’s Kevin Koile has this week’s Sheridan county football history report.

We will have the 2A state title game live for you on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM the First Federal bank and trust pregame show will start at 11:30 with kickoff at noon.

RAMS FOOTBALL – Big Horn and Lovell will kickoff state championship weekend tomorrow the rematch will feature the top two offenses in class 2A, in fact for the season, the Rams have done one yard better than Lovell.

The Rams and the Bulldogs met two months ago in week 1 of the season, and Lovell was able to get out of town with a 14-7 win.

Rams Head coach Kirk McLaughlin says his team has learned a lot since then, and adds Lovell hasn’t changed much, mostly because they haven’t had to.

This will be the 5th time in seven years that Big Horn is in the state championship game, and the Rams are back after a two year hiatus.

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Broncs face off Cheyenne East for the 4A title Saturday we will have it live on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM the First Federal bank and trust pregame show will start at 3:30.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys play at Colorado state Saturday night kickoff is set for 5:00 we will have it live for you on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.

COWBOY HOOPS – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys have another home game tonight against Nicholls state the game is scheduled to tip at 8:00 you can hear it live on KWYO 14-10 am and 106.9 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos play a road game at the Tennessee Titans Sunday pregame is at 9:00 and kickoff at 11:00. We will have it for you on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are back on the home ice this week, hosting games tomorrow and Saturday night against the Great Falls Americans game time is 7:30 both nights.
