Troopers go 4-1 in Billings / Rockies Shutout at Milwaukee / WYO Rodeo Week Starts July 9th

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers have won 11 of their last 13 games after going 4-1 at a tournament in Billings over the weekend.

They opened beating a team from Parker, Colorado then picked up victories from Beaverton, Oregon and the Billings Scarlets Friday and beat a team from Idaho Saturday, they’re only loss came yesterday when they lost in the tournament semi final against the Beaverton team 6-4.

The Troops are now off until Thursday they they host a double header with Spearfish, South Dakota the first game is set to begin at 5:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies were shutout 5-0 at Sunday in Milwaukee, this afternoon they open a home series with Pittsburgh first pitch 3:10 you can hear Rockies baseball on Smart Talk 106.3 FN.

RODEO – Sheridan WYO rodeo week is getting closer actual events start July 9th with rodeo royalty competition, rodeo in the arena starts Tuesday morning the 13th with slack timed events and the first official performance starts Wednesday night July 14th.
