The Sheridan WYO Rodeo Board works year-round to provide a great show and top-quality rodeo with some of the nation’s best athletes and rodeo stock. But everyone knows there is much more to the Sheridan WYO Rodeo than just the competition.

Memories of the rodeo are full of the smells from food vendors, selling the kind of food one can only find at festivals and fairs. Other vendors gather to sell everything from top-dollar hats and gear to key chains and plastic light-up wands.

Sheridan WYO Rodeo board member Janelle Crivello is in charge of vending and the carnival. Crivello took on the duties just last year. After learning the ropes, she’s implemented a few changes and hopeful the public will enjoy the tweaks that have been made.

Crivello told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse these improvements were made to provide some quality of life changes to the vendor activities outside of the arena.

The Sheridan WYO Rodeo is July 10-13. Tickets are on sale and going quickly, according to Board President Hayden Heaphy.
