Milo Pehringer
A celebration of the life of Milo Pehringer, a 53-year-old Buffalo resident, who passed away Monday morning in Buffalo, will be held by his family later this coming summer. Milo Ray Pehringer was born on May 24, 1972, in Buffalo, to Carl and Sharon Pehringer. He grew up and went to school in Buffalo and graduated from Buffalo High School with the class of 1992. After high school he took a job with Top Choice Meats in Buffalo as a butcher and later took a job with Legerski Meats in Sheridan. He was married in February 1999 in Sheridan to Becky Geer, and they made their home and started their family in Sheridan, where Milo continued as a butcher. Following a divorce, he continued living in Sheridan until 2005 when he moved back to Buffalo. He retired in 2023 and continued living in Buffalo until his death.
Milo was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing in the Big Horns. He loved taking care of all animals, but his passion was Border Collies. Milo is survived by one son, Bowen Pehringer of Sheridan; one daughter Amber Pehringer also of Sheridan; two brothers Gary Pehringer of Buffalo and Allen Pehringer and his wife Jennifer of Sheridan; four sisters, Tamara Walker and her husband Charles of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Penny Pehringer of Moorcroft, Wyoming, Candy Pehringer of Buffalo and Erin Hansen of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eric Pehringer.
