Johnson County’s Commissioners, in response to Governor Mark Gordon’s announcement that he will end Wyoming’s COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) declaration, will lift the county’s COVID Resolution at their next meeting on March 15.

The issue was discussed during the Tuesday’s county commission meeting.

Governor Gordon will announce the state’s ending of the PHE effective March 14.

According to a release, the Governor has been coordinating with impacted Executive Branch agencies and licensing boards to ensure they are prepared to make adjustments, where necessary.

The Wyoming Department of Health will continue to serve as a resource for COVID-19 information and support.
