The Sheridan Police Department is inviting the public out to have Coffee with a Cop, beginning at 7 a.m. until 9 a.m., Saturday, Feb 26, at the Java Moon.

The Coffee with a Cop program gives Sheridan City residents an opportunity to meet with SPD officers and leadership in a mutual setting and engage in open conversation about the policing in their area.

Residents are invited to ask questions, give comments or just get to know the officers who patrol their streets. On average, officers only get time to interact with the public they serve during emergencies or during service calls. The Coffee with a Cop program removes barriers between citizens and officers, allowing for more interpersonal interaction.
