The Sheridan City Council considered a number of items pertaining to development at their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

A resolution for the Brown Berrettini Minor Subdivision was approved by the council following a lengthy public hearing where several nearby property owners voiced concerns over the proposed development. City Community Development Director Wade Sanner.

An ordinance to rezone 35,000 square feet of property on Val Vista Street from an R-3 residence district to an B-2 business district was approved by the council on first reading, as was an ordinance for the Cloud Peak Storage Planned Unit Development Rezone. A resolution for the J & L Masters Subdivision was approved that subdivides 12,892 square feet from a portion of one lot into three lots, zoned R-2 residence district. The subdivision is located at 1210 Spaulding Street.

The Council also approved a cost increase for the Army Corps of Engineers 1135 Ecosystem Restoration Project and a resolution to apply for a grant for the Black Tooth Park phase three playground equipment. We’ll have more from the council meeting in future stories.
