Sheridan County Resident Deaths Attributed to COVID-19

The Wyoming Department of Health on Tuesday confirmed the deaths of two Sheridan County residents attributed to COVID-19. An older adult male died in January. He was hospitalized and had health conditions known to put people at higher risk of severe illness.  Another older adult male died in January. He was hospitalized and had health conditions known to put people at higher risk of severe illness. This brings the number of Sheridan County resident deaths to 65.

Sheridan County added 39 lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours and an additional 21 probable cases, bringing the total number of active cases in Sheridan County to 312. There are currently nine individuals hospitalized in Sheridan County battling the virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rate the level of community transmission in Sheridan County as high.
