Mayor Pleased Buffalo Chosen for HGTV Series

Buffalo was one of six cities in the US to be selected for a new television program to be aired in 2022 on the HGTV Network.

The program, entitled, “Home Town Kickstart Presented by PEOPLE Magazine,” will spend time in each community on revitalization projects.

Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader, in an interview with Sheridan Media, discussed the public space that has been tentatively earmarked for revitalization, and explained why it was chosen.

Schrader said there may be other projects that might be higher on other’s priority list, but as far as the city is concerned, any revitalization project is a benefit to the city and its residents.

Schrader was asked if he knew when the announcement concerning the revitalization of the home and business in Buffalo would be made.

Schrader said he would keep the public informed of any new information as it becomes available.
