JCHC Board Updated on Construction Project

Phase One of the capital construction project at the Johnson County Healthcare Center is underway, according to CEO Luke Senden, who gave the board of trustees an update during their recent meeting.

Senden said the contractor broke ground earlier this month and found a problem that has required an adjustment to the original plans in the basement of the new portion of the hospital.

Senden said he believes the smaller area will still be adequate for future plans and will also be the least costly square footage addition to the building.
