Governor Gordon Releases $2.3 Billion Budget Proposal

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon released his budget Monday during a news conference in the Governor’s Ceremonial Conference room in the State Capitol Building. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Governor Gordon began by saying that the biennial budget he’s proposing for consideration by the Wyoming Legislature would reduce spending by $500 million
Gordon talked about what he’s proposing for education.
Gordon discussed what’s being done for possible future revenue challenges.
Gov. Gordon’s letter to the 66th Legislature is available online as is the detailed budget proposal. The Governor’s budget is also published at www.wyomingsense.com. The 2022 budget session of the Wyoming Legislature will convene February 14 in Cheyenne.
