Governor Gordon Signs Special Session Bill Supporting Pushback on Federal Vaccine Mandates

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon has signed House Bill 1002 – Federal COVID vaccine mandates-prohibition and remedies-2. The bill was crafted by lawmakers during the special session convened by the Wyoming Legislature last month. The bill supports Gordon’s continued actions that were already underway, while also appropriating some additional funds to aid in those endeavors. Gordon noted that he had already committed to challenging the Biden Administration’s vaccine mandates in the courts prior to the special session being called. While he appreciates the Legislature’s support for Executive branch efforts previously in progress through this bill, he also expressed concern about the cost to taxpayers of holding the special session.
House Bill 1002 provides $4 million in funding for legal challenges to any COVID-19 vaccination mandates passed by the Federal government. Wyoming, to date, has filed three separate legal actions to challenge the federal vaccine mandates.

Those three legal actions filed by the state and the special session are not worth a pound of salt…ultimately and most assuredly the US Supreme Court will render decisions allowing the federal government sweeping powers regarding public health related mandates during pandemics…it’s only common sense…this is a waste of time and taxpayer money

One bill to come out of session that gives the Gov. the money to sue that fascist biden mandate, protects businesses if they still want to adopt the mandate, and absolutely no protections for those who will be terminated from those businesses because they dont want to take an untested experimental vaccine. We have too many democrats who have infected the repub party. Time to move them out to pasture come election day.

The “infection” in the Republican party is Donald Trump. An infection that is causing the party to ROT from the inside out. How I long for the days of Simpson, Wallop, Reagan, Bush, etc. The days when the Republican party stood for honesty and statesmanship, NOT DIVISION AND HATE.

So you support giving business the ability to discriminate against folks who either dont want to take an untested experimental vaccine, or have a natural immunity because they have had covid and dont need the vaccine. The CDC couldnt cite one instance where a naturally immune person has transmitted covid, but there are numerous instances where the vaccinated have passed covid on to others. Thats why the CDC recommends wearing a mask even if youre vaccinated. I think that your obsession with orange man bad has clouded your thought process since this has absolutely nothing to do with him.

I will gladly admit I have a totally negative view of the big orange ego. I have been a staunch Republican voter for 50 + years until this liar started rotting the party. As far as the vaccine is concerned I remember every American happily being vaccinated for polio and smallpox. Now no one even knows they existed. Nothing to do with Trump????? it started spreading in this country on HIS WATCH !! What did he do about it ?? He said “this virus will soon disappear.” When it didn’t, he suggested we inject ourselves with bleach. There are MANY other Covid failures by his administration, too many to mention here. Nothing to do with him REALLY ???? WOW!!

You speak like a swamp creature much like your friends cheney, wallop and bush. Trump lives in your head. Division is brought about first by obama then by RINOS like your friend Liz Cheney a true child of the swamp.

The only thing i saw with trump was cheaper gas, food, housing. Supply chain worked, we didnt leave people to die in afghanistan, the border was secure.. you are right…. success was easy to see when looking at TRUMP
