Sheridan County School District Two has conducted its bi-weekly review of the COVID-19 plan that was approved by the Board of Trustees on August 30. School District Two issued a media release late Monday that states the district will remain consistent with the COVID-19 plan as approved on August 30 that requires all students, staff and visitors to wear masks inside all School District Two buildings. The plan will be reviewed again on Monday, October 25.

Ongoing guidance from local health officials along with transmission indicators provided by the Wyoming Department of Health, and statistics collected by Sheridan County, including local hospitalization levels were factors that were considered as part of the review. The Wyoming Department of Health and Sheridan County both continue to classify the county transmission rate as high. As of Monday, October 11, Sheridan County reported 156 active confirmed cases, an increase of 21 since last Friday. There are currently 9 individuals hospitalized for COVID-19 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital.
