Buffalo Mayor Proclaims Suicide Prevention Week
Mayor Shane Schrader has proclaimed this week, September 5th through the 11th as “Suicide Prevention Week” in Buffalo.
During the regular Tuesday city council meeting, Arianna Fischer with the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Johnson County, spoke to those present about the “#Be There” project and what it will do.
Fischer said anyone interested in participating in the project should contact a member of the coalition.
Members will also will be available in businesses in the community to have those “difficult” discussions about suicide with anyone interested.
