Buffalo Visitor Center Open for Season

Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Director Meseret Tegenu spoke to the Buffalo City Council at their recent meeting to update them on the chamber’s Visitor Center on Highway 16 East and what it does to promote the area.

She introduced Jim Ray, who is a seasonal employee at the visitor center.

Tegenu said the center is currently open but will be open 9 to 6 seven days a week after Memorial Day through the summer months.

When asked about when the visitor center would close for the season, she said it would normally close after Labor Day, but the employees would keep it open longer if there were still a lot of travelers on the road after the holiday weekend.
