COVID-19 Numbers as of 3 p.m. May 17

The Wyoming Department of Health reports the state has 49,951 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 712 deaths in the state resulting from COVID-19.  

Sweetwater County has the highest confirmed active case count in the state with 63 confirmed active cases, according to the WDH. 

Sheridan County has a total of 2,510 lab confirmed positive cases since the counting of cases began, an increase of two cases since the last report. The WHD is reporting a total of 11 active lab confirmed cases in the county, and 3,130 cases recovered. The WDH reports 672 probable cases in Sheridan County. Sheridan County has experienced 31 deaths related to the virus. 

Johnson County has 425 confirmed cases. Increasing by zero cases since the county last updated, according to the WDH. There is one active lab confirmed case and 293 probable cases. The WHD reports Johnson County has 707 cases recovered and has experienced 10 deaths resulting from the coronavirus. Find these and more statistics here.
