Buffalo Council OKs Water Tap for County Residence

Buffalo’s City Council considered and then approved a request from county resident Chip Scantling for a water tap on a city-owned water line for city water service to his county residence.
City Works Director Les Hook explained that the tap will be on the west end of town on the transmission line to the French Creek Storage Tank.
Property owners outside the city limits can request a tap on a city water line for service, but the tap fees are doubled, and the monthly charge for water service is also double what city residents pay per month.
