A Look Back in Time: April 25, 1921

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on April 25, 1921.

Proceedings will probably be instituted immediately in the district court after Mayor Camplin this morning declined to recognize a petition signed by 153 Sheridan voters calling for a special election on the question of whether to inaugurate a commissioner-manager form of government in the city.

Attorney Robert Rose of Buffalo is in Sheridan on business. Also in Sheridan is R. E. Harvey of Clearmont.

Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Ricketts are moving into their new home on Residence Hill.

The Sheridan Odd Fellows and Rebekkahs have arranged a very elaborate party for tonight to celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows by Thomas Wilder.
