EOC Has No Updates on COVID, Suspends Briefings

The Johnson County COVID-19 Emergency Operations Center was scheduled to have their final weekly briefing Tuesday morning, but there was not enough information to relay to the public to warrant it, according to Robin King,
Public Health Response Coordinator for both Johnson & Sheridan Counties.
In a release after the scheduled briefing time, King said the Moderna vaccine is available at both pharmacies in Buffalo and at Public Health.
The public can call to make appointments to get their vaccinations.
The Johnson County Healthcare Center should have the Johnson & Johnson vaccine available in April.
They are expected to give updates on their vaccination clinics once the vaccine arrives.
The weekly briefings are now suspended, but the EOC will release information as needed and will begin the briefings in the future if COVID infections begin to rise and they become necessary once again.
