Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on March 17, 1921.
Workmen were busy this morning on the final leveling of the 55-acre tract that will be Sheridan’s Country club. The land is three miles west of the city on the Soldier Creek road.
It was announced today that Sheridan’s “Big Five” and the All-Star Crow Indians will play basketball at Banner this weekend under the auspices of the Banner Club.
A petition is being circulated in Sheridan for the paving of East Park street, and will be presented to the city council soon.
Bert and Herbert Masters are operating a new stage line between Sheridan and Buffalo. With the coming of spring and the improvement of roads, the line will be extended to include Kaycee, Salt Creek and Casper.
