A 22-year-old Sheridan man was sentenced to 120-days in jail this week in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan. District Court Judge John Fenn accepted the terms of the plea agreement reached with the State, and sentenced Mitchell Wiley to 120-days in jail for the amended charge of Criminal Entry, and 180-days in jail for the amended charge of Reckless Endangering. The 180-day sentence was suspended in lieu of one year of supervised probation.  Wiley received credit for two days of time served and was ordered to pay $425 in various court costs and fees.

Wiley was arrested on April 29 of last year for breaking into a home in Sheridan and becoming combative with two individuals inside the home. Wiley also attempted to steal a dog from the residence as well. He was originally charged with Unlawful Entry, Domestic Battery, Battery and Reckless Endangering. Two of the charges were amended and two were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
