Nickel Honored During Final Commission Meeting

Mike Nickel attended his final meeting as a Sheridan County Commissioner Tuesday, and was honored by his fellow commissioners with a number of gifts, presented by Chairman Nick Siddle.

Nickel was presented with a card and a certificate from the commissioners and a plaque from the Wyoming County Commissioners Association.

Lonnie Wright was elected to the county commission and will assume the seat vacated by Nickel in January.

In other announcements, Red Grade Road has closed for the season as of December 15^th and will reopen April 1^st.

Also announced were closures of the courthouse in the next few weeks.

The courthouse will be closed as of noon on Christmas Eve, all day Christmas Day, and on New Year’s Day.
