Clearmont Church Plans Christmas Service

Pastor Cody Ramsay said today that the Clearmont Community Church is planning for the on coming Christmas season, with the Christmas Eve Candlelight service to be held at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve, and the Christmas service to be held at 9 a.m. the Sunday before Christmas, on Dec. 19th. On November 15th, the church packed around 100 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, a division of Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse. These boxes, filled with small toys, hygiene items, and other fun things for the needest children in the world, according to the Pastor.
Pastor Cody said that the church has held virtual services for some time due to Covid-19, but currently are having services at the church. “People are asked to respect each other use common sense precautions to protect yourself and your neighbors from the Covid.”
The Pastor and his family have currently moved into the new parsonage, which the church purchased and moved unto a lot they purchased last fall. “It’s a beautiful house, and we are blessed to be a part of this community,” the pastor said. “All are welcome to the upcoming Christmas services.” Kenny Korp and wife Shirley helped to decorate the church for Christmas, setting up the large nativity scene on the lawn. “The stable was built by Bob Greear, and the figures are older but Nina Haynes, wife of the former pastor, Shane, and Mary Ann Greear, repainted and refurbished the figures.”
