Local Tourism Director Talks Winter Rodeo

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it remains uncertain at this time if the Sheridan WYO Winter Rodeo scheduled to take place in February of next year will indeed happen. Sheridan County Travel and Tourism Executive Director Shawn Parker stated to the Sheridan City Council Monday night, that as of now, they are still planning on holding the event early next year, but a lot can change before that time.

Parker said considering the amount of people the event draws, there are a number of different factors that need to be considered to be able to hold the event during a pandemic.

Parker said he would continue to keep the Council updated on the status of the event as it draws nearer.
