Council Tables Hidden Bridge Ranch Rezone and Subdivision

The Sheridan City Council voted to table third and final reading of an ordinance to rezone Hidden Bridge Ranch from a mix of R-1 residential and B-1 commercial to R-2 residential. A resolution to approve the final plat for the 18.5 acre Hidden Bridge Ranch subdivision located in the 700 block of Mydland Road, south of West 5th Street was also tabled by the Council. Councilman Patrick Henderson voiced his concerns about how traffic would be impacted by the development.
The Council did approve third and final reading of an ordinance that rezones 10.45 acres in the Cottonwood Subdivision from R-2 residence to R-3 and R-4 residence district as well as a request to replat the subdivision. We’ll have more from the Council meeting in a future story.
