The Museum at the Bighorns has announced the 2020 schedule for their cemetery tours.

This year’s dates and themes are:  Sept. 5 – World War II Veterans, Sept. 11 & 12 – Living History: Men of Distinction, Sept. 19 – Witches Circle / Bellevue Cemetery, Sept. 26 – Red Light District and October 3 – Murder and Suicide.

Cemetery Tours take place at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on respective days and are a cost of $10 per person.

The Living History tours occur at 7:30 p.m. and are a cost of $25 per person.

Due to COVID-19 tours are limited to 30 people and all participants will be required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth.

According to The Museum at the Bighorns, tours have traditionally sold out early, they encourage potential buyers to purchase tickets quickly. Tickets can be purchased at the museum, over the phone, or online at: museumatthebighorns.org

This year’s ticket sales will benefit the museum’s general operations budget, museum officials said.

The Museum at the Bighorns will also be closed for public visitation from Sept. 2, until Sept. 16. The closure will allow staff time to install their newest exhibit, Sheridan on the Frontlines. The museum will reopen to the public on Sept. 17, at 1 p.m. Those interested in purchasing cemetery tour tickets can still do so by visiting our website: museumatthebighorns.org or by calling the museum: 307-675-1150.
