Sheridan County Approves Application for CMAQ Funding

Sheridan County’ Commissioners have approved the county to apply for 2021 dust mitigation grant funding through the CMAQ, or Congestion Mitigation Air Quality Program.

County Engineer Ken Muller explained the program further.

The estimated total cost of the dust mitigation project for Sheridan County is $380,000 of which the county will pay 20% or $76,000 with the remainder of the funding, or $304,000 coming from the program.
