Sheridan County Accepts Grant for Emergency Coordinator

Sheridan County’s Commissioners accepted a grant for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program.
County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller explained what the grant funding will be used for.
Sheridan and Johnson Counties have both approved the agreement for the sharing of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.
According to the original agreement from 2018, the coordinator employed by Johnson County would have new additional duties in Sheridan County, with administration performed by Sheridan County.
