Prevention Funding Accepted by Sheridan County

Aaron PalmerSheridan County’s Commissioners voted to approve a grant agreement with the Wyoming Department of Health’s Public Health Division for funding the county’s Substance Abuse, Tobacco, and Injury and Violence Prevention Programs.
Community Prevention Manager Ann Perkins was unavailable to speak with the commissioners, and Administrative Director Renee Obermueller spoke on her behalf.
The agreement is in effect from July 1st of this year through June 30th of 2022 and is for a not-to-exceed amount of nearly $368,000 for the two-year cycle.
