SHS Graduation 2026

On Sunday, May 24, around 250 seniors graduated from Sheridan High School. The Class Motto Was ‘People Change, Things Go Wrong, Just Remember, Life Goes On,’ – (Mac Miller)

Class song was ‘Vienna,’ by Billie Joel, class flower was a white rose. Class colors were ocean blue and buttery gold.

SHS Principle Scott Cleland gave the welcome with this advice to the seniors.

Nicholas Matheney was the first student speaker, and he told his classmates, “We all need connections, real connections with people you know, love and cherish.” He also urged them to connect with new people, and we will all be happier. He also said he had no way of judging the future, except by the past.

Jenna Hansen was the second student speaker, she told her fellow graduates,

Alivia Denzin gave her fellow seniors this advice

The passing of the brand ceremony was performed by Olivia Hardesty, senior class president, who passed the branding iron, tied with each graduating classes colored ribbons, to junior Bindley Smith, signifying passing on the knowledge from one class to the next.

Eric Osborne was the student chosen speaker for the event. She said,

Diplomas were awarded by Board Chairman Shane Rader, tassels were turned, and hats were tossed in the air. The class of 2026 SHS is now ready to face the world after high school.
