Out Of State Enrollment At Sheridan College Increases For Fall 2025 Semester
Sheridan College is becoming more affordable in terms of tuition for out of state enrollees.
The College reports there were 228 out of state students enrolled in classes, as of the end of the Fall 2025 semester.
That’s up from 143 students from 1 year prior.
Out-of-state tuition rates were eliminated by the College’s Board of Trustees, saving students around $62-hundred a semester to take classes.
College President Doctor Walter Tribley says besides the elimination of the out of state tuition rate, there were other contributing factors that led to the increase, such as increased participation in the College’s rodeo team, as well as the start of a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Management and Leadership program.
“The second piece is through the good efforts of our Sheridan College Foundation. Our room and board is 20% less than it has been, because that 20% is being covered by the Sheridan College Foundation and the donors in our community that are contributing to that fundraising campaign. They’re literally creating opportunities for these students in the future. We hope to retain these out of state students. We hope that they join our workforce.”
As of the start of the Spring 2026 semester, about 197 out of state students are enrolled at the College.
