The Tongue River Branch Library, which measures 3,350 square feet, is the first location to receive renovations. The work includes reconfiguring shelving to create a larger youth and family area, along with a quieter adult nonfiction space that features appropriate seating for reading and studying.
During the renovation, the branch will offer a limited browsing collection and two computers for public use. According to the Sheridan County Library System, book holds and pickups, courier deliveries, Wi-Fi access and regular hours will not be impacted.

The Sheridan County Library System has created dedicated pages on its website to keep the public informed about renovation progress and any temporary changes in accessibility. Additional information and updates are available through the library system’s online renovation hub.
