Familial and Online Based Trafficking

In part one of our series on human trafficking, we told you about non-familial trafficking and what it all entails. Today we’ll take a look at familial and online based trafficking. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

During her report to the City Council this week, Uprising Executive Director Terri Markham said that familial based trafficking is the most common kind of trafficking that she sees on a day-to-day basis in Wyoming.

Markham said online based trafficking is the type of trafficking that she sees the most volume wise.

Markham talked about how children and teens are victimized through sextortion.
