Christmas Tree Recycling

Now that the holidays are officially over, it’s that time of year again to recycle your live Christmas Tree. City of Sheridan officials ask that people recycle their trees responsibly by removing all lights, decorations, tinsel and stand before taking the tree to one of the designated drop-off locations throughout town.

You can drop off your tree at one of the following green waste/recycling dropsite locations; the City Landfill at  83 East Ridge Road, Monday through Saturday between 7:30 am and 5 pm; 165 East Brundage Lane; 1261 Highland Avenue; the skate park parking area adjacent to Thorne-Rider Park on 11th Street;  Oatts Memorial Park and Kendrick Park. If you’re not ready to take down your tree just yet, the City assures residents that the drop sites will be there when you’re ready.
