Jo Co Commission Approves Changes to Employee FBP

Changes to Johnson County’s employee Flex Benefits Plan (FBP) were approved by the county commission.

County Clerk Jackie Camino explained the need for the county to change the plan.

Camino asked for the commission to approve the changes, saying they would be distributed to employees that are participating once approved.

According to www.healthcare.gov, a flexible benefits plan offers employees a choice between various benefits including cash, life insurance, health insurance, vacations, retirement plans, and child care.
