Jo Co Commission OK’s Catering Permit for Boots & Buckles Event

Johnson County’s Commissioners have voted to approve a 24-hour catering permit for an event at the fairgrounds in January, according to Commission Chairman Bill Novotny.

The Boots & Buckles event is an annual fundraiser for the Johnson County Fairgrounds Foundation.

The event will be January 31 from 5 to 11:30 p.m. at the Community Building at the fairgrounds.

There will be dinner, live and silent auctions, dancing, and live music provided by The Leadslingers.
