Wizard of Oz auditions at The Cowboy Carousel Discovery Center
The Cowboy Carousel Discovery Center is calling all performers ages 5 through 17 to audition for its spring production of The Wizard of Oz. Actors can be seasoned or brand new to the stage, and the Center is inviting the public to audition for an opportunity to be part of a beloved classic that brings the Johnson County community together.
The Cowboy Carousel Discovery Center will bring the magic of The Wizard of Oz to life with songs from the classic 1939 Judy Garland film. Audiences will journey down the Yellow Brick Road with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion, singing favorites like “Over the Rainbow” and “Follow the Yellow Brick Road.” The story of courage, friendship and home will be presented with music, sets and costumes on the Bomber Mountain Stage at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center.
Everyone ages 5 through 17 is invited to audition. No experience is necessary.
