WYDOT Update on Buffalo Main Street Project for June 12

The latest information on the Buffalo Main Street Project was released by the Wyoming Department of Transportation, as of Thursday, June 12.
Paving of the curb and gutter, sidewalks and the intersection of Fort and Main Streets began on Thursday, June 12.
The signal is turned off and there are three-way stop signs in place.
Expect lane closures and flagging operations for the next few weeks.
Utility work continues from Fort Street to Snider Street. Motorists should be prepared for lane closures, head-to-head traffic, flagging operations, heavy traffic, and reduced speeds.
Driveways and approaches in this area may be closed for a limited time during paving prep and asphalt placement.
The new signal at the Hart Street intersection is in place but will remain flashing red until work is finished at that intersection. Stop signs will remain in place as well.
The southeast corner of the intersection will be completed once the water line reaches the intersection ans is tied in to the existing line at that corner.
Work on the Cemetery Creek culvert will begin the week of June 16, with a detour being built to the west. Expect one-way traffic with a signal.
Finally, on North Main Street at French Creek Bridge, in preparation of paving of the wearing course, scheduled to begin the week of July 7, contractors will be grinding the approach to the bridge deck, which will result in a “bump” onto the bridge.
