Sheridan Media Wins 13 Awards At 2025 WY Association Of Broadcasters Convention

The cream rises to the top and Sheridan Media has done it for the 13th time in 19 years, and possibly more.

At the 2025 Wyoming Association of Broadcasters (WAB) Convention in Cody, Sheridan Media won 13 awards (6 1st place, and 7 2nd place) out of a possible 30 and was named the 2025 Wyoming Station of the Year! (13 of the last 19)

Of the 17 categories available in large market radio (Sheridan, Gillette, Casper, Cheyenne, Laramie, Rock Springs, Green River, Evanston), Sheridan Media placed 1st and/or 2nd in 11 of them.

Of the 11, Sheridan Media swept 2 of them (winning both first and second place).

The 2 were Best Radio Show and Best Station Promo.

Grant Yuhre, Kevin Koile and Steven Schreffler won 2 awards each.

Awards were judged by the Virginia Association of Broadcasters.

Best Radio Show: Tommy and Bell (1st place…and 7 of the last 9 years of placing either placing 1st or 2nd) and Steve Sisson (2nd place for 90s at 9)

Best Station Promo: Aaron Linden (1st Place…Nice Bass) and Grant Yuhre (2nd Place…Mirror Mirror Bad Tattoo)

Best Photography: Stacey Ellenwood (1st Place…4th Year In A Row that someone from Sheridan Media has placed 1st in this category)

Account Executive of the Year: Julie Chadwick (1st Place…2nd Year In A Row)

Best News Reporter: Kevin Koile (1st Place…2nd Year in a Row, and 3rd time in 4 years)
