Sheridan County YMCA Executive Director Liz Cassiday made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to discuss summer camps at the YMCA.

Day camps at the YMCA have been developed to offer a wide array of arts, activities, sports and experiences. Through strong community partnerships, camps are offered by Sheridan County organizations such as SAGE Community Arts.

Cassiday said the majority of day camps at the Y cover new themes and include new activities. Staff at the Sheridan County YMCA work to develop and change these camps to keep them fresh every year.

Day camps offer chances to learn about business and economics, arts and sciences, the theater and performance, sports and much more.

Registration is open and works on a first come first served basis but counselors work to accept as many kids as possible.
