Brinton Museum Executive Director Kendra Heimbuck made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to speak on the month that welcomes the Spring at the Brinton.

Heimbuck invited everyone in the community to Welcome Spring at the Brinton Museum. This is a free family friendly event that provides plenty of activities for the kids and adults alike.

Events begin at 10 a.m. Saturday March 22,  with an Art Scavenger Hunt in the Johnston Gallery. Visitors can search for hidden treasures in Linda Pease’s artwork and win prizes. Children and families are encouraged to explore, discover, and locate hidden objects within her exhibit.

Other activities include ‘Build Your Own Bird Home’ when visitors can get creative and craft a home for feathered friends. A photo booth will be located in the lobby to capture the moment with spring-themed photos. Participants will need a phone or camera to snap their own pictures.

Along with Rooted in Wyoming The Brinton Museum is giving visitors a chance to meet some of the tiniest livestock—red wiggler worms—as they work to create compost. Participants can get hands-on with RiW and create their own seed bombs using milkweed flower seeds to help support butterflies or beet seeds to grow vegetables at home.

March is also Membership Month at the Brinton Museum. The month offers the Brinton an opportunity to celebrate long-time members and reduce the membership price to invite residents and art lovers to join their community. The Brinton Museum’s Membership Month offers a 20% off new, gift and renewing Individual, Dual, Family and Contributor memberships.
