Wyoming AARP President Stella Montano and Clarence Montano have reported to Sheridan Media that the 2025 Souper Bowl food drive was a success this year as residents donated approximately 1,600 pounds of food.
According to the Montanos, the Philadelphia Eagles seemed to receive the most votes by way of food placed in the specific containers.
“It was pretty even at first, then the Chiefs moved ahead and then BOOM the Eagles boxes kept filling up fast!” they wrote in an email to Sheridan Media.
AARP Wyoming and the Montanos wish to thank the Sheridan Community for coming out to support the food drive and their valued drop off location partners, of whom without none of this would be possible.
This year’s drop off sites were the American Legion, YMCA, The Hub, Schiffer School, Sheridan Memorial Hospital and Sheridan Community Federal Credit Union.
This year, the food was divided between The Salvation Army and the Food Group.
