Spanish Influenza, Oct. 31, 1918

Sheridan Media reporter Pat Blair looks back in time, over 100 years ago, to the impact of Spanish influenza as reported in the pages of the Sheridan Enterprise in 1918.

Seven deaths from influenza were reported for the 24 hours ending at noon today, Oct. 31: three in Sheridan, three at Monarch and one at Acme.

Mrs. Malcolm Moncreiffe has returned to her Big Horn ranch after spending several days assisting at the emergency hospital.

Managers of local theaters are arranging to open with special attractions when the health board gives the word that the influenza epidemic is over.
